Salmon with Honey-Pecan Glaze

Instructions
  1. This is tasty and sweet. Beautiful, crispy salmon fillets with honey-pecan glaze
  2. Ingredients: 1 cup pecan pieces 1 cup honey 3/4 cup margarine ( or butter ) 1/4 cup vegetable oil 4 salmon fillets Salt and pepper to taste
  3. Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C. Spread pecans on a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes, or yntil slightly browned. Stir 2 or 3 times to toast uniformly. 2. In a small saucepan, over medium-high heat, combine honey with half of the margarine. Stir in toasted pecans and cook for 8 to 10 minutes to infuse flavours. Remove from heat and keep warm. 3. Melt remaining margarine with oil in a large skillet over high heat. Season fish with salt and pepper, fry on each side until firm to touch. 4. Spread a little glaze on a serving platter, transfer the fillets on it and spoon the rest of the glaze over top.
