Tasty, healthy and quick to prepare side dish, ideal for poultry and meet.
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons butter
500 g brussel sprouts, trimmed
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup smooth Dijon mustard
1/4 cup maple-flavoured or pancake syrup
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sprouts; cook and stir for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned. Add broth, mustard, syrup, black pepper and stir. Bring to boil, reduce heat to mrdium and cook, uncovered, for 8 minutes, or until sprouts are tender and the sauce has reduced to a thick glaze.
