Instructions
  1. Creamy mushroom sauce and hot pasta -- the food that dreams are made of! A green salad and crusty bread will complete your meal.
  2. Ingredients: 300g macaroni 3 tb sp. finely chopped fresh parsley 2 tb sp. grated Parmezan cheese MUSHROOM SAUCE 2 tea sp. vegetable oil 1 onion, sliced 500 g mushrooms, sliced 1 tea sp. paprika 2 tb sp. tomato puree 250ml evaporated milk, (may be combined with some double cream, opt.) freshly ground black pepper
  3. Directions: Cook macaroni in boiling water in a large saucepan following packet directions. Drain , set aside and keep warm. To make sauce, heat the oil in a nonstick frying pan.Cook onion and mushrooms until they are soft. Blend together paprika, tomato puree and milk. Stir into mushroom mixture and cook gently over a low heat for 5 minutes. Season to taste with black pepper. Place pasta in a heated serving dish and spoon over sauce. Toss gently to combine. Sprinkle with parsley and Parmezan to serve.
