Golden, crunchy and delicious, these bisquits won't last long
Ingredients: 90g rolled oats
125g flour, sifted
90g desiccated coconut
4 teaspoon golden syrup, warmed
125g butter, melted
2 tb sp. boiling water
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Directions: Place oats, flour, coconut and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Combine golden syrup, butter, water and bicarbonate of soda.
Pour golden syrup mixture into dry ingredients and mix well to combine. Place spoonfuls of mixture 3cm in apart on greased baking trays and bake for 10 - 15 minutes, or until bisquits are just firm. Stand on trays for 3 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool.
