Instructions
  1. Best made just before serving, this superbly tangy sauce is great poured over steamed vegetables.
  2. Ingredients: 315mL cream (single) 1 1/2 tb sp. wholegrain mustard 1 clove garlic, crushed 3 tb sp. vegetable stock 1 tb sp. finely chopped snipped chives, or parsley freshly ground black pepper
  3. Directions: Place cream in a small saucepan and bring to the boil. Boil rapidly until reduced by a quarter. Stir in mustard, garlic and vegetable stock. Simmer for 7 - 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until sauce reduces and thickens a little. Stir in chives or parsley and season to taste with pepper.
