Chilli Sambal
  1. Use this sambal as a dipping sauce or keep in a jar in refrigerator to add some quick flavors to your recipes
  2. Ingredients: 25 small fresh red chillies, stalks removed 2 cloves garlic 1 small onion, chopped 2 tablespoons brown sugar 185mL water 1 teaspoon cornflour 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  3. Directions: Place whole chillies, garlic and onion in a food processor or blender and process to make a paste. Transfer to a small saucepan and stir in sugar, water, cornflour and vinegar. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside to cool. Transfer to a warm sterilised jar. Seal and label when cold. Store in the refrigerator until required.
